General Dutch – Dutch Language Course

Every Tuesday and Thursday 8.00-9.00 pm | 20 lessons over 10 weeks

Would you like to improve your Dutch speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills? The General Dutch course is designed to help non-native speakers gradually improve their Dutch language skills and communicate with more confidence in everyday life, at work, and in social situations.

Why this course?

A good understanding of the Dutch language helps you become more independent and participate more easily in Dutch society. During this practical course, you will learn the Dutch you need in daily situations: having conversations, understanding information, filling in forms, and communicating with others.

Practical and immediately applicable

The course focuses on real-life situations. You will practise with familiar topics, practical conversations, and exercises that you can immediately use outside the classroom.

During the lessons, we focus on:

  • Speaking skills and pronunciation

  • Listening comprehension

  • Reading Dutch texts

  • Writing short texts and messages

  • Dutch grammar and vocabulary

  • Everyday conversations and practical situations

  • Dutch communication at work and in society

During the intake, we assess your current level, learning goals, and personal needs, so the lessons can be tailored to your situation as much as possible.

This course is suitable for non-native speakers who want to improve their Dutch, for example for:

  • Daily life and communication

The course is available at different levels:

  • A0 – Beginner

  • A1 – Basic Dutch

  • A2 – Inburgering level

  • B1 – Independent Dutch

  • B2 – Advanced Dutch

The cost of this course is €595,- per person (0% VAT).
